We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Textiles Teacher to cover the head of department for a sickness copver. Previous experience teaching textiles at both KS3 & KS4 is essential for this position although applications will also be considered from dynamic and tenacious NQTs. Experience of teaching A level Textiles would be beneficial. This position is offered on a full time, ongoing basis and is due to commence in January 2014.
All applicants must have completed a PGCE Secondary qualification or Bachelor of Education providing Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Applications from FE qualified instructors or teachers with QTLS, unqualified teachers or overseas qualified teachers not familiar with the GCSE curriculum will not be considered.
NQTs will be supported in their induction.
Salary range: £475-£700 per week (pre 12 week agency worker regulations, dependent on references and experience)
