A leading financial services organisation is looking to recruit a Data Acquisition Consultant (procurement, sourcing) to join their team responsible for the procurement of market data and other data types. They are looking for a candidate with financial market data and procurement experience.

As the - Data Acquisition Consultant - market data, procurement, financial services, sourcing - your responsibilities will include:

  • Analysis of data sources in terms of content, delivery mechanism, timeliness and suitability.
  • Contract management, negotiation of legal and financial terms according to strategy and local requirements Project management of targeted data sources according to our strategy.
  • Analyse and evaluate market/customer proposals' feasibility Deliver input for Data costs in Business cases (with RFP if comparison is possible)
  • Building and managing relationship with data suppliers globally including being the escalation line for internal stakeholders
  • Regular observation of the data supplier market and elaborate the data supplier market analysis.

To be considered for the role of Data Acquisition Consultant - market data, procurement, financial services, sourcing - you must have the following skills and experience:

  • A strong understanding of the financial markets and infrastructure, especially market data contracts.
  • Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail
  • Experienced in negotiating and communicating at senior level and cross-culture
  • Ability to meet and exceed deadlines, make decisions independently and have the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • A financial Services recognised qualification Degree-level education and/or relevant experience
