This highly successful organisation with a strong brand is looking for an experience HR Administrator to join them in a temporary role assisting in the provision of a comprehensive personnel service and providing HR administrative support to the human resources team.

Duties of the HR Administrator Include:

•Assisting with the supervision of the work of agency or other staff allocated from time to time.
•Undertaking administrative procedures relating to the recruitment of staff - eg. to assist in drafting and placing advertisements, to issue application forms, make shortlisting and interview arrangements, request references, process expense claims, clerk and advise at interview panels, and take appropriate follow-up action.
•Notifying candidates of interview outcomes and take follow-up action as necessary
•To draft offer letters, contracts of employment, and contract variations for signature and issue with appropriate enclosures.
•induction of new staff in accordance with agreed procedures.
•Actioning procedures pertaining to leavers: eg, drafting letters to acknowledge and confirm details of resignation; obtaining leave card and forwarding address
•Preparing payroll documentation in respect of new starters, leavers, contract variations and other changes pertaining to salaried staff for checking by Personnel Officer prior to despatch for authorisation.
•Assisting in monitoring the advertising and recruitment expenses budget.
•Setting up filing systems and file documents promptly and accurately, including closing down of job files in accordance with agreed procedures.
•Clerical/administrative duties as required including photocopying, word processing, collating and issuing of documents, etc.
•Responsible for the issuing and collection of annual leave cards.
•Updating and interrogation of the personnel database and other data sources, using these as appropriate to supply timely and accurate management information.
•Updating employment law manual promptly and accurately.
•Undertaking appraisal and probation administration duties.
•Assisting in maintenance of appropriate records for purposes of Equal Opportunities monitoring.
•Provision of advice and information to staff and managers on terms and conditions of employment and general personnel matters.
•Inputting orders on the relevant financial system as required and maintaining budget records.
•Liaising with managers and the Finance Office concerning agency staff and related invoices in accordance with agreed procedures.

As the ideal HR Administrator you will have previous experience in a similar role and be able to commit to a three month assignment. There is the possibility the role could lead to a permanent position.
