Randstad Education Cardiff are currently seeking an experienced, confident and motivated SEN Teacher with strong EBD experience to work within our PRU in Cardiff. The successful candidate must have specialist experience with emotional, social and behavioural difficulties and restraint training would be a distinct advantage.

The role of a Special Educational Needs Teacher will require:

*A relevant SEN teaching qualification;
*Experience working within an SEN environment;
*Recent experience in a classroom environment;
*An excellent track record;
*Good knowledge of the national curriculum;
*Strong interpersonal and people management skills

This PRU school benefits from supportive and hard-working staff who create a positive environment for all pupils in order to enhance their self-esteem and encourage them back into mainstream education. The school's professional and dedicated team also work very well to improve each pupils social skills for life outside of school. The unit takes pupils from across the county of Cardiff with the intention of reintegrating pupils back into mainstream education. By working with pupils from key stages 3 and 4, this PRU enables pupils to focus on their learning skills through the core subjects, as well as providing an alternative and extended curriculum for pupils aged 14-16.
