The client
The Green Recruitment Company are currently recruiting for a Building Services Engineer for a highly respected, international, multidisciplinary, engineering consultancy.
The company, based out of Central London are growing their Energy Division significantly and have recently won a number of multi-million pound contracts across the capital.
The successful candidate will be trained by some of the smartest minds within energy efficiency and will develop the skills to become an Energy Manager.

The role
The successful candidate will be working on a number of high priority energy projects across the renewables and energy efficiency disciplines.
Responsibilities
• To help develop, support and maintain energy projects
• To help prepare business cases for new energy proposals
• To provide technical and engineering support for the development and growth of our clients contracts
• Undertaking technical and feasibility studies and site investigations
• Reviewing and checking project drawings
• Developing detailed designs
• Supervising contractors on site and advising on civil engineering issues
• Communicating and liaising effectively with colleagues, contracting civil engineers, subcontractors, sub-consultants and clients
• Compiling and checking reports

Requirements of the candidate
• Must hold a Building Services degree
• Committed to energy management, sustainability and the conservation of energy and finite resources
• Understanding of energy related technologies and an awareness of industry development in relation to energy efficiency, energy control and generation
• Ability to communicate confidently with people, including members of the senior management team and senior customer decision makers
• Ability to listen effectively and respond appropriately to requests for information in a succinct and easily understandable style
• Flexible approach to working with a willingness to contribute positively to change
• Ability to work calmly and effectively whilst working to various deadlines
• Ability to work as part of a team with demonstrated ability to work to time and budget
• Committed, self-motivated and organised
• Good communication, planning and organisational skills
