PERMANENT POST - IT TUTOR TO WORK IN A PRISON IN THE BUCKHAMSHIRE AREA - IMMEDIATE START SUBJECT TO PRISON SECURITY CLEARANCE

The Job......................
An excellent knowledge of IT and a real enthusiasm for teaching is needed for this post. This is a full time permanent role for an IT Tutor that must be a qualified teacher. The successful applicant must be able to teach IT up to entry level 1 & 2. The course followed is ECDL ITQ and the awarding body is BCS.
Applicants must be willing to commit to the planning and preparing of lessons alongside;
*Teaching, according to the student's educational needs
*Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of
students
*Promoting the general progress and well-being of individual students
*Participating in meetings arranged for any of the purposes described above.
*Assessments and Reports

This is a full time role, 5 days per week - Mon-Thurs 08:15 to 16:45 & Fri 08:15 to 16:15

Salary - ?17k-?30k depending on experience.

The Student..................
You will encounter a diverse mix of students in the prison. A passion for teaching and a dynamic and flexible approach will be advantageous for teaching students in a prison environment. Students will have varying levels of abilities and communication skills. An IT teacher with an aptitude for teaching students of mixed abilities is needed in this permanent post.
