Key responsibilities of the role:

Your role will be to provide support to the Sponsor Liaison Manager. You will help maintain and nurture the relationships with their events clients and help enhance sponsor experience both in office and onsite at events. You will also provide admin support to the events team as and when needed.

Day-to-day activities will include:

This company is looking for a recent graduate to join their account management team as they launch two new financial products to market. This role is to assist with the management of these two products from launch to monitoring and development. Day to day activities will be as follows, with full training provided:

Product one:
•To work closely with clients and the Product Manager to ensure the campaign performance improves and usage increases.
•Visiting clients to provide project updates and ultimately, advice on how to use the product more effectively.
•Working with the marketing and audience development teams to build and extend online engagement the company’s readers.
•Working on practical aspects of new launches including sales, marketing, PR, logistics - basically whatever needed.
•Monitoring and maintaining the quality of the database to ensure all records are relevant and accurately verified.

Product two:
•Working on all aspects of the product launch.
•Work closely with clients and the Product Manager to ensure this product is being fully utilised by the client.
•Helping the clients use the product on a day-to-day basis.
•Visiting clients to provide project updates and advice on how to use the product effectively.
•Working with investment research to prove relevant timely information reports on the client’s investment business.

Key candidate requirements for the role:

The hiring company are looking for a product account executive, who shows excellent initiative, is able to engage with a wide variety of people and who can demonstrate they can successfully communicate concepts to others. As one of the most successful financial publishing houses in the UK, this role will suit a recent graduate looking to work in financial services or publishing…and ideally both!

Degrees relevant would include business management, economics, finance and accounting though these are not pre-requisites. An interest in the sector is more important! Recent graduates with prior experience in data inputting, research and analysis, problem solving and negotiation are mandatory skills with a particular focus on personal organisation and customer service.
