This is a paid internship. Salary: NMW.
How you can expect to spend your day:
You will attract new business and grow our client’s current customer base in the UK.
This will include:
•Developing leads and building sales channels in conjunction with Account Executives.
•Creating and prioritizing strategic target account lists within a defined territory.
•Conducting high level conversations with Executives in prospect accounts.
•Prospecting for interest and starting the sales process using question-based selling techniques.
•Assigning leads to appropriate internal parties.
•Actively engaging with prospects/clients in social media (e.g., Twitter, forums, blogs, etc.).
•Working closely with sales and marketing groups on focused campaigns.
•Updating company database to reflect daily activities.
•Maintaining company culture when engaging with prospects/clients.
The ideal intern’s personality and qualifications:
•Graduate, ideally with 1st or 2.1 degree.
•Ability to work well under pressure.
•Keen interest in social media and digital communications.
•Excellent interpersonal skills.
•Strong initiative and positive attitude.
•Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
•Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.
•Professional, organised, efficient and accurate.
