Key responsibilities of the role:

Trainee Recruitment Consultants/Trainee Account Managers in this organisation provide invaluable commercial and operational support to highly experienced teams of consultants across their divisions.
With comprehensive and proactive support from your mentor you would be tasked with assisting across the whole recruitment lifecycle.

Day-to-day activities will include:

The role will include shadowing on interviews to build up a practical experience of how to screen and assess candidates in the context of specialist markets. You will be tasked with researching for new candidates to meet their clients’ requirements. This will include the use of various social media and internet based sources, as well as supporting headhunting and direct sourcing for specific roles.

You will also have the opportunity to attend certain client meetings to observe account and relationship management dynamics and to develop information gathering techniques; thus enabling you to support end-to-end, source-to-selection processes. There would also be a business generation component to the role; which could incorporate account management calls with warm/active clients, lead tracking, preparing marketing literature to position solutions, research calls to stimulate leads and support to networking activities/events.

Key candidate requirements for the role:

•The ideal candidate would be a self-starter; someone who demonstrates initiative.
•Capable of reading between the lines, skilful in listening and questioning.
•Someone who is able to multi-task and quickly comprehend complex topics.
•Able to work with little supervision, that copes well with rapidly evolving targets.
•You should be commercially aware and display a high level of drive and energy.
•Someone who displays integrity and honesty.
•You excel in a team environment; a tenacious individual who is able to cope with setbacks.
You have a strong sense of personal accountability.
•Ideally you have a good degree from a top university that has incorporated a sandwich year in a corporate placement.
•Degrees of interest include: history, politics, English, mathematics, sciences, accountancy and finance, IT and business.
