A long standing organisation within financial research, which take pride in their use with the latest technologies are seeking a SQL Server DBA (SQL 2008/2012, Migrations, Updates, T-SQL, WinForms, Perl, PowerShell) to administrate all SQL server databases in a challenging and stimulating role.

Within this SQL Server DBA (SQL 2008/2012, Migrations, Updates, T-SQL, WinForms, Perl, PowerShell) role you will be required to maintain all SQL systems within this busy organisation, which processes large quantities of data. You will need to have strong background in SQL server 2008 & 2012 and you will be required to perform multiple tasks such as writing query optimizations, defining and altering relational database systems in practise.

This role will involve an exciting test every day, with a variety of tasks from migrating database systems, updating database systems or coding tasks in Perl or PowerShell.

Key requirements within this SQL Server DBA (SQL 2008/2012, Migrations, Updates, T-SQL, WinForms, Perl, PowerShell) role are:

  • 4+ years experience, working with SQL Server systems - Required
  • 2:1 or above from a red brick University - Required
  • Expertise on T-SQL - Required
  • Financial Experience - Beneficial
  • PowerShell or Perl Scripting experience - Desirable
