This large thriving school has seen significant improvement through internal promotions and a clear vision to provide excellent teaching and learning for south Manchester families. The school excels despite and perhaps because of it's size with 1800 students in the secondary school and a growing sixth form.

The Child
Students come from the surrounding areas of Didsbury, Withington, Burnage and Cheadle and further afield to learner in a popular dynamic environments. Cultural differences, English as an additional language and learning needs are embraced and supported.

The Job
ICT and Computer Teacher teaching Ks3, Ks4 classes across a range of abilities.
The job would focus on developing successful, independent learners through an emphasis on fostering research skills, learning skills and attributes.
We are looking for Qualified Teachers Status who can offer:
Proven experience of teaching AQA, OCR and Edexel KS4 syllabus
Effective classroom management in line with schools behaviour policy
Excellent pupil progress results and value added student achievement
The ability to teach to KS5 is beneficial but not essential

NQTs will be supported with their induction

Candidates will first be judged on the strength of their CV and if successful invited for interview and to teach an observed lesson.
The successful applicant will then be either taken on a first term contract or paid on supply .
