A global Trading Solutions provider urgently seeks a Technical Account Manager to join their ever-growing team within the heart of the City. The Technical Account will act as an expert in their field whilst providing support at every stage. Basic salary up to £70,000 plus excellent benefits.

The successful Technical Account Manager will be responsible for requirements and design of solutions to meet the demands of customers, whilst owning specific opportunities through to contract signature and billing. You will have primary ownership for assigned strategic opportunities to ensure the proposed solutions are implemented according to best practices and that they are compliant with all necessary regulations. You will also work to ensure that the business and technical requirements of the customer and met and exceeded and ultimately result in a successful sale.

The Technical Account Manager will be expected to feedback and manage any product development requirements for prospects/clients acting as a consultant to the Sales organisation as well as other internal and external groups. You will be expected to manage customer meetings, presentations and preparation of RFP/RPI responses.

In order to be eligible for the role of the Technical Account Manager-(Account Manager, TAM, Reuters, RMDS, Sales, Financial Services, London) the following is essential:

- Senior Pre-Sales/Technical Account Management experience

- Financial Services work history

- A solid technical background and excellent knowledge of the market data industry and trading environment from a technology, content, middleware, development and network perspective

- Customer facing ability with a business and technical mind-set

- Excellent communication skills with demonstrable enthusiasm and motivation
