One of the city's leading exchanges is seeking a technical account manager to join their London based team. My client are looking to recruit into a growing area of the business and have a vacancy available for a talented and experienced individual with excellent client facing skills and a string technical ability around derivatives and equity trading technology.

To be considered for the role of technical account manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage all technical aspects for a set of allocated accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the techn8ical contacts within your specific accounts
  • Provide functional support and advice to new and existing and new customers
  • Liaise with other teams around the business such as software development, project management, network support and business teams

As the successful Technical Account Manager, you will be working directly with the end user, managing and designing the training process as well as documenting potential and highlighted issues to report back to the development team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exchange trading experience within a multi asset environment within one of the city's most prestigious environments.

To be considered for the role of - Technical Account Manager, Relationship Management, Operational Management, FIX, TCP/IP, Equities, Derivatives, Financial Technology - you will need skills and experience in the following:

  • A degree in a relevant IT or business engineering subject would be highly desirable
  • A good understanding of Equities and Derivatives markets would be highly advantageous
  • You must be a confident team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, essential
  • Strong technical understanding and knowledge of IT systems, networks and FIX protocol messaging, essential
  • Able to work to deadlines and under pressure
