How can you expect to spend your day?
The purpose of this internship will be to learn how the media team operates so you can begin assisting in the management and delivery of innovative digital campaigns rooted in forensic insight. Experience gained will cover display, paid social, mobile, video and content partnerships. Day-to-day activities will include the following:
•Helping the planner buyers with the set-up and monitoring of online ad campaigns.
•Checking campaign reports and helping to analyse and interpret campaign data.
•Contributing to new ideas for campaign briefs.
•Providing market and audience insights through your own research – using a range of internal and external tools and sources.
•General administrative support for the planners – ranging from experience in putting together campaign documentation, pulling reports, placing bookings, ad trafficking and media owner liaison.
•Throughout the internship you will be actively learning and building your knowledge of the digital media landscape.
The ideal intern’s personality and qualifications:
•The ideal candidate will be a graduate with a 2.1 or above.
•Someone with a strong attention to detail and exacting standards is essential.
•You should be good at multi-tasking and managing multiple projects at one time.
•A good communicator.
•Capable of working as part of a larger team and independently.
•Someone who demonstrates initiative.
•Strong numeracy and written skills are a must.
•You’re intelligent and inquisitive – an active thinker, not just a doer!
