Technical Operations Analyst- Support, UNIX, Perl

Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE
Location: Central London
A leading provider of trading systems technology currently seeks a Technical Operations Analyst (Support, UNIX, Perl) to join their growing company within the Central London office. My client dominates their market space and due to new business wins and projects - and are on the lookout for this successful person to join their team immediately.
As the Technical Operations Analyst (Support, UNIX, Perl), you will be working across multiple areas of the business. You will be working with multiple technologies predominantly within a UNIX/Linux mission critical environment, working with scripting languages such as Perl, Shell and Bash to control the platform. You will be involved in networking technologies to integrate the platform. You will also stand the chance to collaborate with in-house Operations, Market Control, QA and Development teams.

· A background supporting mission critical environments (essential)
· Heavy exposure to UNIX, Linux environments
Technical scripting languages such as Perl, Shell, Bash (essential)
· Networking fundamentals (TCP, UDP) and troubleshooting skills
· UNIX monitoring tools - both BUI and command line tools
