We are currently recruiting for an energetic, dedicated Nursery Teacher with recent EYFS teaching experience for a 5day a week 2term position, starting in March, for a Primary School based in the London borough of Lambeth.

The school is in a challenging area, but has an Outstanding SMT which works tirelessly as a team to inspire pupils to commit to their learning and develop strong values which will be with them throughout their lives. They promote an active and interactive teaching style that also includes many creative techniques drawn on from the arts, sports and other practical skills to provide pupils with a well rounded education, and helping them to discover different talents and strengths.
Many of the children do come from challenging home lives and backgrounds which impacts on their classroom behaviour, and as a whole the school does have a high number of EAL and FSM pupils.
Many of the pupils come from Nigerian and Black Caribbean origin and most children?s levels to early years provision are below average for their age. Staff have outstanding levels of care, guidance and support with a warm and enthusiastic approach to create an inclusive and effective community where many children move on with levels of learning average for the age. The class does have an eager disposition to please and learn which the right teacher will be able to harness and enhance whilst still maintaining an undisruptive classroom environment.
The ideal candidate must have:
? Qualified Teachers Status, NQTs are welcome to apply.
? Relevant up to date experience teaching EYFS in UK schools and children?s centres.
? Outstanding classroom practice
? Secure knowledge of the teaching of phonics and subject knowledge appropriate to the teaching of children aged 0-5years old, including Reading, Writing, Maths and ICT
? Commitment to securing high levels of progress, achievement and self-esteem for all children
? Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
