This company's product is a Credit & Debit Card Processor serving the SME market. They are the largest merchant-acquiring business in the UK, signing up a new business every 7 minutes all across the UK via the largest sales force in the industry (their customers process £1.5bn in transactions).

This is a paid internship. Salary: £25-28,000 pro rata.

How you can expect to spend your day:

The Quality Assurance Engineer is an entry level role for an aspiring developer. This position is responsible for developing and executing formal test plans for applications. This includes writing test cases/scripts, test case automation, test execution, tracking quality assurance metrics and documenting all issues, while assisting in resolution. You may work on multiple programs/systems as a project team member, but could also be considered a subject matter expert for a single program/system.

•Assist in development of new features across our software infrastructure to enable the business to rapidly grow.
•Work with our application development teams.
•Support the review and writing of quality policies, systems and procedures.
•Review qualification/validation protocols and reports.
•Support technology transfer projects and new product introduction.

•Computer Science, Engineering undergraduate degree or a similar background with experience.
•Financial industry experience would be a plus.
