A Global market leader in Corporate Investment Management seeking a Java EE Developer (Spring 3, Agile) to help build large distributed web applications allowing business from various industries to manage online investments and portfolios.

As the Java EE Developer (Spring, AGILE) you will be joining a small team of developers with a large remit to build vast web distributed applications with the latest versions of open source technologies. Innovation is fundamental to this business in ensuring market leader performance, so you will need to be ready for challenges involved with working on new technologies.

The business can work in small teams and still produce big quantities of coding due to the extreme programming styles, strict agile sprints with TDD for the highest quality meaning less maintenance later and freedom to start more greenfield projects.

Key requirements;

  • Java Enterprise experience in commercial environment (Essential)
  • Recent working experience of Spring and Hibernate (Required)
  • Experience on large web applications (Beneficial)
  • Familiar to AGILE and Test Driven Development methodologies (Beneficial)
  • Degree level education in computer science or similar discipline (Beneficial)
