This is a graduate job. Salary: £18-20,000.
Our client’s marketing department is expanding and a new permanent role has been created for a Marketing Assistant.
Day-to-day activities will include:
•Coordinate website content - coordinate translations across multiple languages liaising with internal departments: Marketing, Compliance and IT to upload content to our websites.
•Email marketing - set up multi-lingual templates liaising with internal departments and manage email campaigns on Salesforce.
•Marketing collateral - ensure all brochure work and marketing collateral is kept up to date and in stock across multiple territories. Manage and send out incentive gifts to new accounts.
•Budgets / invoicing - verify and input invoices on to the budget sheets and raise POs.
•Competitor reviews - review and report on competitor activity weekly, monthly and quarterly.
•Media schedules - check positions and rotation of purchased media against media schedules in all territories. Maintain and update the marketing calendar on Outlook and distribute media schedules to relevant internal stakeholders.
•Reporting - assist the Campaign Manager in updating daily, weekly and monthly reports. Identify and analyse trends using Excel and Salesforce. Compare internal database data with media agency reports identifying any discrepancies.
•Social media - post educational events on social media pages and manage social media channels during team absence.
•General - manage the marketing drives and folders. Deal with ad-hoc requests from internal stakeholders for files and marketing items.
Key candidate requirements for the role:
•The successful candidate will be a graduate in a marketing related subject, with some work experience in a marketing environment which may be via an internship.
•You must have learned the basic disciplines of office life.
•Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook is essential as is proven attention to detail.
•Candidates with a second European Language will be at an advantage.
•They will choose someone with a can-do attitude that is excited by what they want to achieve and understands that at every level their contribution plays an essential part in the organisation.
