A highly successful Financial vendor is now looking for an experienced QA/Release manager (Perl, C++, C#, ORACLE) to take over full responsibility of the QA and release process within the company and report to the CTO as well as their Global Release Manager based in the US.

The right QA/Release manager (Perl, C++, C#, ORACLE) will be responsible for assisting the release manager with implementing a global release strategy as well as performing the monthly release cycle globally across their entire clientele.

You will also be using your excellent communication skills to liaise with the clients and discuss any possible issues with the product being tested. You will also be monitoring the entire process and sometimes adding functionalities to the systems.

Your role will be to take over ownership of all UK related projects. There will be room for you to lead your own team in the future as the company is comtinuously expending.

The right QA/Release manager (Perl, C++, C#, ORACLE) will be required to have the following skills:

  • Experience of managing releases in a software company-Essential
  • Ability to write and maintain basic python scripts-Essential
  • Ability to read any of Perl, C++ and C#-Desirable
  • Some knowledge of Oracle-Essential
  • Ability to work in Autonomy-Essential
  • Good English language writing skills-Essential
  • Very organised, as working to deadlines-Essential
