Our client, a two-form entry primary school in Poplar, are currently looking for an EYFS teacher. The school are looking for a teacher who can really hit the ground running and so previous experience is essential.
The school is part of a well respected federation of schools in Tower Hamlets, the federation really focuses its attention on helping children to realise their potential. Staff enrichment and training is a part of the culture here and a lot is invested in improving best practice within the federation, there is cross school training and teachers are encouraged to learn from each other.
Children enter this school at three main points:- Nursery (age 3+), Reception Class (age 4+) or Year 3 (age 7+). The school has a small catchment area and most children live in the local area and so there is a lot of community involvement.
This Ofsted good graded school are focused on further improving the level of teaching and are looking for hardworking teachers who will work towards the same goal and become part of this school community.
This position is initially for one term with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.
Successful candidates must:
-Have QTS (NQT's will be considered)
-Have an early years specialism
-Be willing to work beyond a term of needed
-Have a record of a successful or ideally outstanding teaching in another school or a successful placement in a school as part of teacher training
