Our client is looking for a Qualified Primary Teacher to cover a long term sickness, teaching Key Stage 2 mainly Year 3. The school itself is situated in the Hull City Centre. You will be taking over a Year 3 class and also supplying general cover teaching across the majority of the other years. The school is looking to hit its highest achievement levels to date, therefore the school is looking for teachers who have the latest, up-to-date training on their CV. This role is ongoing and to start asap.
The school is a small Primary school situated in the Hull City Centre in which classes are mixed across the year groups, in order to provide a more comprehensive structure of teaching. The school prides itself on its Church of England ethos whereby there is strong links with the local church resonating in the daily routine of the children, a caring atmosphere is maintained in every classroom therefore leading to a teacher being needed with excellent classroom management.
The children come from the local area in which the community has very close links with the everyday activity of the school, with many of the parents having attended in the past. Therefore a teacher in this role would expect to engage quickly with other members of staff and parents alike. The children come from low economic backgrounds and there is a high percentage of under-achieving children, therefore the client is wanting a Primary Teacher who can provide an active, engaging structure of learning to foster achievements.
