Job Specification Point of contact for telephone calls received by the Service Desk relating to the hardware, software and services in our environment. You will gather the information from the customer, log the call, perform basic trouble shooting and escalate to the relevant support team where necessary. Log support calls for emails received in the Service Desk mailbox and assign to the relevant support team. Ordering of IT Hardware, Software and Peripherals. Maintaining the asset register. Perform regular routine tasks including adding new accounts, removing inactive accounts and configuring mobile phones. Assisting with desk moves for PC’s, Terminals, and Printers. Perform basic troubleshooting such as account unlocks and assigning permissions. Produce Management Information that may be requested by your line manager. Skills required:

England - You must have at least 5 G.C.S.E Grades (C and above) or equivalent, Maths and English is a must.
Training to be provided:
England - Systems & Networking Level 3 Apprenticeship - | 3 modules in Microsoft Technical Associate | City and Guilds certificate in IT Systems and Principles | City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma in IT Professional Competence
37.5 hours (Monday – Friday, 9 – 5:30)
