Company Profile This company is a Managed Service Provider that provide IT solutions to the primary, secondary and further education sector. We provide a remote service desk for incident ticket logging and consultancy services for system installations.

 

Job Specification Service Desk Analyst responsible for the logging and allocation of support calls to the appropriate resolving groups.

 

Will deal with technical tasks suited to the skillset of the apprentice role and undertake various elements of, on the job, training to further equip them to undertake the role and progress their experience.

 

This role sits within the support team; it is a critical role as it is generally considered the first point of contact with the business. It will deal with the allocation of technical support issues and also the ownership and resolution of technical issues applicable to the skillset of the apprentice.

Active Directory User Administration Desktop support Data restore jobs Call assignment First response to customer over the phone and email Skills required:

 

Confidence Natural intelligence Willingness to learn and take advantage of the opportunity Personable Excellent communication skills – written and verbal Qualifications required:

 

England - You must have at least 5 G.C.S.E Grades (C and above) or equivalent, Maths and English is a must.

 

Training to be provided:

 

England - Systems & Networking Level 3 Apprenticeship - | 3 modules in Microsoft Technical Associate | City and Guilds certificate in IT Systems and Principles | City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma in IT Professional Competence

 

Apprenticeship duration:

 

12-14 months

 

Working week:

 

2 working patterns:

 

Monday – Friday 08.00 – 16.30Monday – Friday 08.30 – 17.00
