The Organisation:


The Green Recruitment Company is working with one of the leaders in offshore wind development who looking for someone to lead the technical offshore team in order to define specifications and requirements of their offshore projects. The successful candidate will be leading and coordinating the technical team involved whilst collaborating with external suppliers and following the technical director guidelines to ensure the best and most efficient practices in the sector are followed.


Responsibilities:


• Ensure the development and implementation of the technical normalization in all company geographies by applying the best practices of the industry, in order to guarantee the maximum efficiency in the construction and operation of the assets
• Ensure the definition of the E&C and O&M standards and procedures for the offshore sites developed by the company
• Manage and lead the technical offshore team by set goals, objectives and responsibilities
• Define indicators for measuring and evaluating results
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budgets for the whole Department
• Contribute to the development of the team, and ensure compliance with the goals of the department
• Lead the technical support to commercial teams
• Lead the offshore technical part in the due diligence processes of new projects
• Know and apply the HSQE plans ensuring complete implementation and enforcement
• Improvement of the activities of the department
• Represent the company before public and private agencies as well institutions


Required Skills:


• Degree in Engineering or relevant field
• More than five years` experience in the offshore wind (engineering, construction, operations)
• Proven leadership and analytical skills in large scale projects
• Experience with contractual matters
• Previous experience of managing consultants and managing budgets
• Previous experience in delivering detailed technical knowledge to other departments
• Strong knowledge of H&S procedures within the sector
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
