The company works with Tier 1 FTSE 100 Banks on a global scale to ensure anti-money laundering and compliance programmes are structured, effective and constantly improved.
This is a 4-6 month internship based in Dublin, Ireland. Salary: £1000 per month.
How can you expect to spend your day?
This role will form part of an internal team analysing current procedures and systems dealing with anti-money laundering and compliance. The day-to-day tasks will be to collate data from the client's current systems, mapping these business processes and procedures to gain a clear picture of the status quo. Much of this data will be numbers based and often on Excel.
The Banking Analysis Intern will be guided to identify points of interest and headline facts from this collateral. This information must then be developed into an accessible PowerPoint presentation to identify what is happening and what can be improved from an anti-money laundering and compliance point of view. These reports will be seen by senior directors and will help form future strategy and business processes.
The ideal intern's personality and qualifications:
The role will most suit a recent graduate looking to start a career in the banking sector and so relevant degrees include economics, maths, law, business administration, finance and accounting etc. Previous work experience will also be of interest though full training will be provided.
Strong Excel skills are very important to this role along with a good working knowledge of using PowerPoint. The more advanced knowledge in these areas the better!
