This company is one of the top two gaming consoles in the world today producing cutting edge gaming experiences for a customer base spanning the globe.

This is a paid internship. Salary: £1,000 per month.

How can you expect to spend your day?

This internship is based within the commercial development team responsible for commercial partnerships, digital advertising solutions to game publishers and app services. The purpose of this role is to support the ad sales team and gain an insight into the day-to-day administrative tasks such as helping to pitch new proposals, scheduling new meetings, the after sales process of working with clients, agencies and external sales agencies.

Day-to-day activities will evolve with the role and initially will be:
* Learning how to support the ad sales team and third party sales agencies to schedule new advertising campaigns.
* Experience in maintaining and amending sales material to aid the team in pitch process.
* Liaising between the ad operations team, agency clients and publishers to provide creative guidelines and templates so as to deliver assets for new ad campaigns.
* Experience assisting the sales team by collating data and costs in response to proposals.
* Liaise with their finance department to provide monthly revenue reports.
* Learning how to provide after sales support with invoicing and campaign reporting.
* Other tasks that may be reasonably requested by the department from time-to-time.

The ideal intern's personality and qualifications:

This role most suits a recent graduate looking to gain commercial knowledge and experience for one of the most recognisable brands in the world. Some of the role entails reporting and working with data on excel and so degrees where excel has been a key part would be beneficial but not a pre-requisite.

Essential skills
* Educated to degree level.
* Familiar with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
* Must be able to display a good level of numeracy.
* Able to plan own activities as well as those of others and to ensure plans are adhered to.
* Ability to work under pressure on multiple activities to meet campaign deadlines.
* Able to relate well to others and use interpersonal skills to achieve desired objectives.
* Able to communicate well, orally and on paper or email.
* Able to contribute ideas with a view to improving the ad sales process.
* Capable of managing communications between internal and external stakeholders such as third party sales agencies.
* Ability to effectively learn and pull together campaign plans, schedule and asset requirements in response to incoming request for proposals.

Desirable but not essential
* Media sales experience.
* Knowledge or experience of the gaming market.
