This marketing agency has been in operation for over 20 years and remains fully independent. The agency is currently expanding its reach and influence across both the retail and digital marketing sectors. With a raft of blue-chip clients such as Samsung, Exxon Mobil and Tesco operating within a number of different industries, the agency is now seeking an account executive, preferably with 3-6 months of industry experience.
This is a full-time job opportunity. Starting salary: £19-22k depending on experience.
How can you expect to spend your day?

The successful candidate will work within a growing team, acting as day-to-day administrative and project support, predominantly on the company's Samsung account. They will gain a thorough understanding of the business and clients' corporate culture and services to deliver powerful marketing solutions. The candidate will be client-facing and given the opportunity to manage projects with the supervision and help of the Account Manager.

* You will help deliver the key marketing disciplines - website design, management & reporting, email marketing, website assets including press & digital advertising, promotions and point of sale.
* Engaging with the client to gain a thorough understanding of their corporate culture, marketing requirements & marketing issues, current and future.
* Representing the client internally to business functions, getting the best out of agency on the clients' behalf.
* Taking effective client briefs, questioning to ensure that all relevant information is gathered.
* Effective delivery of briefs to in-house creative and digital team in conjunction with the Account Manager in the first instance.
* Liaising with other team members to ensure effective communication and distribution of work and support.

Administration:
* Managing own workflow under supervision.
* Creating an accurate audit trail of communications and actions on every job.
* Maintaining and update client files on a regular basis.
* Maintaining reporting across key campaigns - response rates, digital click-throughs, downloads and performance.
* Assisting with invoicing.

The ideal intern's personality and qualifications:

* The ideal candidate will have a positive approach to work.
* 3-6 months' work experience within the marketing industry is preferable.
* Someone capable of providing strong support to both Account Manager and the rest of the Account team.
* Able to work as part of a team and independently
* Ability to manage multiple projects
* Show enthusiasm and commitment to both the company and its clients.
* Able to work well under pressure/deadline driven
* Ability to take ownership and deliver monthly projects
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
