A fantastic opportunity for a teacher of Mathematics in a strong department within a successful and oversubscribed school. The department empowers pupils by providing them with the skills, knowledge and understanding to make decisions. Students are placed in classes according to their ability.
Students are assessed regularly so that progress against targets can be closely monitored and intervention put in place as early as possible for those that seem to be falling behind. This involves the use of specialist teaching assistants removing small groups of students from their regular classes to work on areas for development in maths.
