The Job:

Our client, based in Waltham Abbey , are looking for a qualified teacher, with previous SEN and SEBD experience. You should have experience of working with challenging behaviour and complex needs. The successful candidate will be teaching on a 1:1 basis working out of the local library.

You should also have the interpersonal skills needed to effectively communicate with staff and students. This booking is for 3 sessions per week which will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9:00-12:00, to start ASAP until the end of the Summer Term

The School:

Our client delivers individual specialist education programmes to young people who are facing difficulty in accessing education.

The Child:

The children they provide a service to are out of mainstream education for a variety of reasons and include children with special education needs, those in care homes and those who are under achieving and in need of specialist support.

The student in question is a Year 11 boy with low ability Level 1. He is helpful and sociable works best with practical and creative learning rather than written.
