Stonetools is a leading supplier of tools for working stone. We are looking for a multi-talented individual who is willing to work hard as part of our professional team. Stonetools is a growing company and we can offer a fulfilling and prosperous career to the right candidate.
The position is within the Purchasing Team and you will be required to work closely with the Purchasing Manager and the Warehouse Manager. The aim of Purchasing Team is to provide the goods and services needed by the company. Your work will involve both purchasing and some financial management including:
- Managing information about products including prices and contracts
- Forecasting demand
- Creating purchase orders and tracking deliveries
- Managing Supplier invoices and making payments
- Logging financial transactions
- Managing returns
- Helping maintain supplier relationships
Skills and qualities:
You will need to be able to prioritise tasks and take a professional and intelligent approach to your work. You need to be accurate, conscientious and organised. You need to be numerate and well educated ideally to degree level. Experience in either an administrative, financial or purchasing role would also be an advantage.
