The position is within the Warehouse Team and you will be required to work closely with the Warehouse Manager. The aim of your role is to facilitate the business by helping to store the stock neatly and to get the days orders picked and packed efficiently and accurately.
The Warehouse Assistant job is to assist the Warehouse Manager with all aspects of the day to day running of the warehouse.
The work involves:
- Unloading and Receiving Goods
- Inspecting and Labelling Received Goods
- Putting away Received Goods
- Replenishing Picking Locations from Bulk Stock
- Picking and Packing Orders
- Liasing with Courier Collections
- Liasing with Purchasing
Skills and qualities:
We are looking for someone we can rely on: who is accurate, conscientious and organised. You will need to be a team player, who can take instructions and organise their work. You need to be numerate and well educated to GCSE level with the ability to use Microsoft Excel. A fork lift license would also be an advantage.
