My client, a SEN mixed school in Southampton requires an experienced and talented teaching assistants are required to work with children excluded or at risk of exclusion from mainstream school. We have a vacant post at KS2-3 and also at KS4.
If you have:
experience of working with teachers to engage young people in learning
ability to form and sustain supportive relationships with challenging children and their parents
creative and innovative ideas
a positive personality with a good sense of humour
In this role, you will:
work alongside a supportive staff team creating an outstanding school
have an exciting opportunity to make a difference and put our Alternative Learning Provision at the heart of the service for vulnerable children in the city
Experience of the Nurture agenda would be an advantage but a well rounded, experienced resiliant SEN teaching assistant would be ideal.
