As Linux Service Engineer you will be continuously challenging and developing your technical skills. This is an ideal opportunity for a technically passionate individual to join an elite environment. The senior Linux Systems Administrator will be working with multiple technologies and flavours such as, RedHat/Centos, Linux Clustering technologies, as well as working alongside developers in C, C++ and Java

To be considered for the role of - Linux Systems Administrator, UNIX Administration, Linux Infrastructure, Linux Clustering, RedHat/CentOS, Virtualisation, Scripting, Bash, Python, Perl, PHP, Java, TCP/IP, MySQL, - you will need skills and experience:

  • Opensource Virtualisation experience desirable.
  • Configuration Management Systems.
  • Scripting or Programming a real plus in Bash, Python, Perl or PHP.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking, ideally with Multicast.
  • Networking kit, ideally F5 Load balancers.
  • Running and debugging Java based websites a plus.
  • Experience running Databases on Linux, MySQL or Postgres.
  • Opensource Monitoring Systems.
  • Knowledge of storage protocols.
  • Windows experience helpful.
