Recruiting Manager: Paul Burmiston
The Financial Analyst delivers effective regulation for an assigned portfolio of Registered Providers to gain assurance that the regulator’s economic standards are being met, and in particular that the social housing assets are protected. The role contributes to the delivery of the Regulation work programme and this in turn supports the Social Housing Regulator to discharge its duties in ensuring that social housing continues to be available to current and future tenants, that the supply of new homes and wider public benefits are delivered in a way that represents a fair deal for taxpayers and that social housing tenants get a fair deal.
As Financial Analyst, you will be expected to develop and manage credible regulatory relationships with an assigned portfolio of providers with the objective of gaining assurance on the regulatory standards.
The successful candidates will have a financial background and preferably a relevant professional qualification. The location for these roles is flexible and you will be based in a HCA office in Leeds, London or Manchester. The role also offers the opportunity to work flexibly.
Please note: The HCA along with other Government departments and Government sponsored bodies have been tasked with reducing running costs. The HCA are bound by the Government’s asset strategy which means that we must continually review and make more effective use of our offices. Although the post can be based in London or Manchester its location may be subject to change and we cannot guarantee that staff will not be required to move base location in the future
