The School, the Child…
The School is larger than most secondary schools nationally. Most students are White British and live locally. The remaining small numbers of students originate from a range of minority ethnic heritages. The proportions of students supported by school action plus or who have a statement of special educational needs are higher than national averages. These needs range from autistic spectrum disorder and physical disability to speech, language and communication needs, moderate and specific learning difficulties, and behaviour, emotional and social difficulties. The college meets the current floor standard which are the minimum standards expected by the government.
We are looking for a Qualified History Teacher who can:-
- ensure consistency in teaching and student progression during the teachers absence
- Teach lessons in accordance to the school policy
- Develop relationships with pupils and staff
