Qualified teacher of Girl's PE from September 2014 for two terms covering a teacher on secondment at an independent school in Salford.
This small independent school in Salford is where individuals count. Staff are a close knit community and teachers often teach from reception through to sixth form.
The Senior leadership team are very supportive and popular and welcome the opportunity to help newly qualified teachers excel in their career.
The PE department offers two football pitches and a well equipped sports hall. The school completes in national and international champtionships. PE teachers are expected to manage and coach school teams and be active sportsmen and sportswomen in their spare time.
The school has a broad cohort of students who largely live in the affluent areas of West Salford and Bolton and Cheshire. Students are supported in individual learning allowing all students the opportunity to exceed their potential. School trips are popular and cultural and community awareness is hugely promoted. Some students speak English as an additional language. Provision for SEN is excellent.
