Randstad Education Cardiff are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Science Technician to work on a full-time basis for one of our fantastic Cardiff schools.

The Science Technician MUST be available from June 2014 and will provide an efficient and effective support service to teachers focused on the practical and technical aspects of the Science Curriculum. You will co-ordinate the use of practical resources, materials and facilities for teaching staff and students in the use of scientific equipment in Chemistry, Biology and Physics.

You will have previous laboratory experience and/or a background in science along with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Would also suit a science graduate who may be interested in studying for a PGCE in the future and is ideally looking to gain experience in a school environment. The ability to work to tight deadlines and to communicate successfully with staff and students is essential.

The successful candidate will ideally be able to communicate through the medium of Welsh, however not essential.
