Programme Manager - Procurement - OJEU
Huxley Associates are recruiting for a programme manager for a national broadcasting organisation. The key responsibility will be to assist with the re-procurement process to secure a new network provider. The post requires an in depth knowledge of the full project and procurement life cycle with an ability to manage stakeholders, contributors and market interactions. Must be be OJEU aware and have extensive experience with tender processes.
Experience/skills:Demonstrable experience of leading projects successfully (including leading teams, budgeting, planning, quality management, problem solving, reporting, managing risk) (Essential)Managed large scale procurement projects in line with EU procedure (OJEU) (Essential)Managed projects/workstreams with large budgetsDemonstrated where they have provided Project Management oversight over smaller initiativesAbility to use 'best practice' in all aspects of project management, with focus on practical results rather than processWorking knowledge of benefits management and business changeKnowledge of relevant legislation, including procurement, contracts, health and safetyKnowledge of the Media sector and good understanding of traditional and new technologies used in a production, broadcast and online environmentA recognised project management qualification or demonstrable career development activities.
The client is a national broadcasting organisation so a background in the broadcasting industry would be useful.
