Marine conservation volunteer projects with International Dive Qualification
Volunteer on a groundbreaking Marine Conservation project with Kaya Responsible Travel and focus on researching predators, movements of animals and coral reef protection. Alongside this innovative work, volunteers get the added bonus of being able to train for and gain International diving certifications (PADI or SSI), learning from industry professionals.
This is a fantastic opportunity to either try something new or build on your experience whilst working towards preserving the world’s best natural attractions and would be perfect for those with an interest in Marine Biology.
Volunteers can participate in the following projects:
Marine Conservation in Belize with PADI Certification
Marine Conservation Internship in Belize
Turtle Nesting and Island Coral Reef Conservation in Borneo
Island Coral Reef Conservation and Diving Project in Borneo
Island Marine Conservation with SSI Certification in Koh Tao, Thailand
Marine, Whale Shark and Manta Ray Conservation including PADI Diving Course in Mozambique
All volunteers must be 18 years old, there are no specific qualifications required. However, if you already have any level of dive certification, let a project advisor know.
Placement fees apply, but include accommodation, airport pick-ups, food, orientation and 24h support.
