QTP Automation Engineer- Banking- 400-600
I am looking for an experienced QTP Automation Engineer to join a top financial organisation based in the city of London. The role will require you to come on board and help them with a new project within their business.
Resource is required to develop an automated functional test suite as well as enhance the existing suite already developed - this will involve the following activities:
Liaison with project BAs, Manual Testers and Developers to establish and understand functional requirements and existing manual test suites with a view to automate them using the HP QuickTest Professional Tool (QTP version 11.00 upwards).
Develop an automated regression suite that is data driven and based on common frameworks such that it provides a building block for future scripting.
Code around unrecognized objects and controls in QTP, developing add-ins as appropriate without the use of Programmatic Description.
Develop QTP add-ins where there are limitations to QTP out-of-the-box.
"Productionise" the suite through integration with HP ALM V11.00 upwards.
Initial automation suite execution till it's stable before handing over to an execution team through training.
Integrate QTP scripts into QC/ALM
5-7 years QTP Experience (last 2 years on Version 10.00 upwards) and Certification preferably.
5 years automated functional regression test development based on application technologies covering mostly Web, .Net, JAVA, JAVA Applets, SilverLight and SQL Database.
Recent QTP/UFT development skill for HTML5, .Net and Java based applications.
Knowledge and full understanding of the QTP Object Repository and Object Identification process.
Ability to develop Data Driven automation frameworks.
Other tools - Selenium/WebDriver, MS CodedUI
Contract role based in London.
400-600 per day
