Working for a large digital/social media organisation this role has come about due to internal change and continued company growth. The business is highly entrepreneurial, internationally established and is looking to continue rolling out into further territories.
This person will play a pivotal within the department, managing a small team and ensuring that all deadlines are being hit.
The business is a fun but hard working and dynamic and is looking for a likeminded individual.
Ideally looking for an immediate start or within a month.
Management responsibility for a team of 6;
Prepare monthly results including analysis and board reporting;
Prepare group management information on a monthly basis;
Ensuring the month end timetable is adhered too;
Investigate variances against previous month and analysing any differences;
Responsible for the treasury process and reviewing the cashflow;
Review month end balance sheets and P&Ls for the UK companies;
Review the quarterly UK Group tax/VAT;
Assist with ad hoc projects;
Ensure intercompany accounts are prepared.
Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent);
Must have staff management experience;
Educated to degree level and an excellent academic background;
Experience within a media or digital business highly preferred;
Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
Experience of SAP would be a distinct advantage;
Self starter, enjoys problem solving and wants to get involved with the business.
