The company specialises in the wire stripping and printing industry and work with some very well- known companies. They have a really exciting product range from smaller user-operated machines to fully automated, technically complex machines.
You will have the opportunity to be consulted and be hands on in the development of new products.
As the Electrical and Controls engineer, you will join a team of 10 people who make up the engineering team. Your role will be to design the overall control system to the point where it interfaces with the software, including writing and delivering on the functional specifications and defining the plc and programming.
The company largely use Eplan and AutoCad Electrical for their design work and Yaskawa so any prior knowledge of this plc will be very beneficial, however you will have used Mitsubishi and AutoCad previously.
The role is mostly site based; however there will be one or two opportunities per year to travel abroad for installing and commissioning.
There is a salary of up to £40,000 on offer as well as an extensive benefits package which includes holiday, pension, health insurance and life insurance. The company also have an early finish on Friday's.
