A highly successful and established international consultancy firm is looking for a talented (Junior) IT Systems Administrator / Infrastructure Analyst to be based from their European headquarters in the Guildford area, Surrey (commutable from Hampshire, Sussex, Berkshire as well as parts of South London).

Reporting into the Infrastructure Director, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for monitoring, supporting and developing the infrastructure for an internally hosted business critical application. As part of a small IT team, you will also be expected to assist with other infrastructure/ network projects and support the service desk team.

In order to be suitable for this role you must have experience working in a Helpdesk Analyst, Service Desk Analyst, Desktop Support Analyst, IT Support Engineer or similar role with proven remote IT support skills. It is essential to have solid technical knowledge of networking (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP) principles, Active Directory and Windows Server, including general administration and installing applications. Any technical exposure to server hardware, SQL Server, routers, switches and virtualisation or any MS certifications will be considered high beneficial, but is not essential.
