Equity Trading Developer-Financial- London
A leading global financial company is looking for a flexible Equity Trading Developer to join their growing team. An opportunity exists for a developer to develop and maintain a number of applications used in the front office. The main aim of the role will be to continue to build out of the middle office platform. However, there is also a large part of the role that is development support/maintenance for a number of legacy tools/applications. The successful Equity Trading Developer will need to be flexible and willing to solve problems on both development and support sides of the role, be an active problem solver and flexible in terms of work load.
The key responsibilities of the role is developing the business-driven projects within the equities trading space. The roles also consists of the responsibility of system monitoring and start-of-day/end-of-day checkouts. Integration testing and oversight of production releases is a daily task, as well as Level 2/3 trade support queries.
The main skill set of the Equity Trading Developer required are:
Technical languages: C#, Java, C++
Experience in server side and/or client side development
Experience in building unit tests and agile development techniques
