A leading financial services organisation in the City is looking for an experienced OTC derivatives (Credit / FX) Business Analyst to join their growing team. My client is one of the top 3 businesses in their field globally and use bespoke trading platforms to deliver a world class service to their global client base.

Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to analyse, specify and deliver changes, enhancements and new functionality to my client's bespoke OTC derivatives platform. This will involve working with internal and external stakeholders and development teams to deliver solutions.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Gather business requirements from the OTC Derivatives business unit (credit and FX) and produce specification documents for the development teams to work with
  • Gain a detailed understanding of how data flows through my client's systems and how changes to the platform with affect other systems/business units
  • Work with testing teams to ensure testing is planned and executed

Required skills and experience:

  • Solid understanding of OTC derivatives
  • Knowledge of electronic derivatives systems and STP
  • Business analyst experience
  • Knowledge of the SDLC - software development lifecycle
