My client are a leading marketing agency who are looking to recruit a permanent Data Planner / Account Director to be based out of their offices in West London.

The right candidate will have a well-rounded view of the global B2B data market with solid experience of buying for global clients, but of equal importance is a candidate who also has a strategic view on how the data can be used effectively for the client.

While the role is primarily to work on this client there are a number of other strategic accounts that will also need to be serviced. The Senior Data Planner/ Account Director will establish and maintain a strong partnership with clients, partners and internal teams by ensuring successful execution of deliverables, providing thought leadership and subject matter expertise and providing overall efficient account management to internal and external clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The role will involve the following:

Day to day data planning input for key account.
Global data sourcing for client acquisition activity, enrichment and remediation projects
Strategic Data Planning activity - working through both direct sales engagements and consulting with key accounts to identify ways to improve client marketing programs through the use of external data sources.
Drive discussion and analysis of key account requirements to make recommendations for data enhancement and improvements that will improve ROMI.
Seek ways to expand client base through Identifying new business opportunities for both sales and planning disciplines with both internal and direct clients.
Support B2B and global data planning and data acquisition requirements from across the business
Identify any cross-sell/up-sell opportunities and share with appropriate contacts across the company
Proactive management of 3rd Party Vendors, negotiations and license management
Development and direction of emerging social and digital data sources and associated vendors
Building up, and maintenance of, portfolio of both niche and larger scale global and local data providers
Management of other data planning team members
Awareness of data protection laws and comprehension of contractual language for compliance.


Essential skills / experience:-

- Strong Appreciation of Data
- Strong B2B experience
- Strong experience working with client list brokers
- Previously positions held can include Account Director / Account Manager / Data Planner / Data Strategist / Data Consultant


Location: West London

Salary: £55k - £65k
