This role is sat within the marketing department of a globally successful broadcast network. They are looking for someone for a period of 9 – 12 months to cover a maternity leave contract.
This is a senior level position where the Senior Director, Marketing will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Marketing and Creative team. Essentially, you will be tasked with “keeping everything running” ensuring that the brand is always fresh, funny and relevant.
You will manage all disciplines; Marketing, PR, Digital (Content Development and Social Media specifically) and you must have solid understanding of Creative Development, it is essential that you have expertise across all of these disciplines, broadcast is highly preferable, yet multi-disciplinary experience is more important.
The right person will also have significant senior management level experience and be able to demonstrable evidence of implementing statistically measurable social media marketing campaigns. You will be a highly collaborative team leader/player; comfortable with ambiguity and with leading in a matrix organisation.
You should have strong leadership qualities, coupled with solid previous experience of ensuring team processes and procedures are met, and team members are motivated and manage their work load well.
Familiarity and comfort with corporate behaviours, processes and norms are also required, along with previous international experience (EMEA)
You role will be split between,
- Supporting the VP, Marketing in Brand Management & Communication Strategy, Ad/Affiliate Sales & Bus Dev Support
- Leading the strategy for partnerships and sponsorships and ensure a smooth transition to the business development team
