Marketing & Account Director - (Marketing Agency)
An experienced Marketing / Account Director is needed to join a creative marketing agency with clients focused in the hospitality industry. As a leader in this vibrant and fast growing team, from the outset you will be responsible for the strategic planning and account direction of your own set of clients, occupying a powerful position in influencing the direction of your client’s business and marketing activity.
With major clients that include D&D London, Whitbread, BR Guest Hospitality in New York (and many more) this pioneering agency employ a mix of creatives, marketers, strategists and web devs that specialise in maximising bookings for clients worldwide. Trading since 2001 and now employing 18 people their focus is to increase the amount of people visiting hotels, restaurants, spas and bars using four core services: strategy, online marketing, website development and branding with a particular expertise in utilising the complete mix of digital marketing techniques.
The role mixes marketing direction, strategy, brand management, creative direction and overseeing the implementation of online marketing tools, alongside client management and marketing consultancy. They need someone with an advanced level understanding of digital marketing, who is willing to challenge brands and clients to inspire work that is more likely to connect with consumers and excite the client. You will need to be a real charmer, an inspirational team leader, and someone who under pressure can be cool and calm to get the job done to exceed the expectations of the clients.
You will have a Marketing & Account Manager and an Executive dedicated to you and your client’s implementation, so team management, motivation, coaching and delegation are key skills required in order to keep your client portfolio running efficiently and profitably. You will be the driving force leading your team and the strategic direction of your client’s digital marketing.
To qualify…You will be an Account Director / Marketing Director (or strong experienced Senior Account Manager ready to step up) with a wealth of experience who can show:
- An understanding and experience working in a marketing / ad agency environment;
- A degree level education;
- Creative flare and the ability to challenge the brand status-quo;
- Excellent standard of written English skills and the ability to write creative copy;
- An all-round advanced level understanding of marketing tools & techniques;
- A particular focus and enthusiasm for digital marketing; specific experience with project managing website developments, SEO projects, PPC, digital display advertising and Google Analytics analysis are essential;
- An organised and pro-active mentality with a keen eye for detail;
- Confident leadership skills with the ability to drive and direct your team to maximise the results for your clients.
