Business Applications Manager (ITIL, SQL, SharePoint) - Canary Wharf, London - £75,000

The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a highly successful, very well-known international technology company to find a Group Application Support Manager to join their Head Office team.

This is a key Senior Management role and requires a confident and decisive individual with a combined technical and commercial skill-set and experience interacting with stakeholders at all levels. You will be required to travel to various European sites on average a couple of times each month - please ensure you have considered this before applying.

The Group Business Applications Manager will lead the Applications Support team and take responsibility for their scheduling, appraisals and daily management. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing existing team members and recruiting new staff.

To be considered you must have solid management experience - ideally in a multi-site environment.

You will be responsible for defining budgets, user training, developments and enhancements and managing 3rd party relationships including defining and managing SLA's, KPI's and providing RFC's. In addition, you will work closely with other managers to contribute to the delivery of key, group-wide projects

The successful candidate is expected to have demonstrable experience in all or most of the below:

*Application team set up and management
*MS SQL Server support and configuration
*SharePoint
*3rd party supplier relationship management inc. SLA's & RFC's
*BMC Remedy, MS Dynamics CRM, Exact, ServiceNow - or other similar products
*High levels of technical documentation & reporting
*Development management inc. testing, UAT and production processes

To be considered for this role, you MUST have solid experience managing a team who have been responsible for the customisation, enhancement, bug-fix and support of both a CRM system and an ITSM system. It is of lesser importance which products these have been but it would support your application if they included: BMC Remedy, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, ServiceNow or Exact financial software.

Any experience gained within a high-availability, mission-critical environment would certainly support your application.
